Dr. Clyde Lewis, President. He/him

Dr. Lewis is a board trustee and vice president of Antioch Unified School District, Lecturer at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, President Kiwanis International Delta Club, and Founder of ONESSIS International, a program designed to support the re-entry of formerly incarcerated youth.

Dr. Lewis was recently nominated, accepted, and confirmed as President of Think Round’s Board of Directors. Thank you for your service, Dr. Clyde! We look forward to your sage leadership as we endeavor to revitalize and expand our programs, and manifest our twin visions.

Hideki Uchida, Board Member. He/him

Hideki Richard Uchida received his Business B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, his M.A. from San Francisco State University, and his J.D. from Golden Gate University. He served as the Budget Officer for the J. Paul Lennard Library at San Francisco State University for 30 years while working part-time teaching Business Law at City College of San Francisco. Since retiring from State, he has been a tenured full-time professor at City College teaching Business Law and computer applications.

Richard serves Think Round in countless invaluable ways. Thank you Richard for being so wonderful.

Heidi Hardin, Founder, Executive Director, acting Secretary. She/her

In 2004, Heidi founded Think Round, Inc. and has served as Executive Director since then. Think Round formed around her nationally acclaimed enrichment programs: The Children’s Mural Program and Kids Environmental Education, KEEP!. Since 1992, she and other practicing fine artists (from STAR and the community) have taught the power of creativity and stewardship of the planet to more than 4,000 children in all five Bayview Hunters Point elementary schools.

Ismaila Biaye, Board Member. He/him

The Biaye family settled in the Bay Area from Senegal in the late eighties. Ismailia, the father of five, is best known as Monsieur Biaye or Ismael through his dual career as a French teacher and business communication strategist in the Bay Area for decades.

Ismailia and Heidi worked in tandem with the Bayview Opera House and the Alliance Française de San Francisco to develop and teach a new, innovative curriculum, The Global Arts Program/Dialogues in Culture.

Mr. Biaye is a true friend and a very active Board Member of Think Round, Inc.

Sheila McElroy, Board Member. She/her

Sheila McElroy has worked for over 30 years in the field of historic preservation and neighborhood revitalization. She prepared the Cultural Resources section of the Hunters Point Shipyard EIR, including the historic resource impact analysis. Her role with TRI is to support efforts for revitalization and community engagement.
